Yuzu sends her regards to everyone. And cookies.

How's it been here at the Twin Cities without a Kurosaki on board? I see Keigo's having a heart attack about something, so not that much must have changed.

I was bullied into it.

I haven't taken a bike ride in ages. It's literally been years. I guess that sayings got a foot in the reality. You really don't forget to ride one of those monsters.

So, I almost got hit by a car.....something like seven times? And I think my chain got screwed up, because it's making weird noises. I wonder if I should name it. My bike, that is.

Something really classy and ironic. Like Byron or Margot. Or Antonin. I saw that name in the bookshop the other day, and I've fallen in love.

And after trailing a Rilo Kiley cover back to its original musician, I discovered Neutral Milk Hotel. I downloaded In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, and I've had it on repeat ever since. I can't be bothered to find out this guy's name, but his voice is phenomenal. I mean, the guitar is pretty basic, but his voice makes it for me.

Gonna have to look for it at the station on my downtime.

Know what I hate?

Idiots who decide it's a damn good idea to pull the fire alarm. Oh, jeez, is it a waste of time. And what's really fantastic is that they do it in the morning, when it's freezing. So we all get the honor of standing outside shivering our asses off. I didn't even have a sweater, to make things worse.

I can't get sick, either. If I don't show up this weekend, that stupid morning DJ is going to throw a bitchfit over his coffee, or something.

On a better note,  on Tuesday I caught the tail end of a show that sounded like it had potential. The DJ seemed a bit...well, disorganized, but I'm guessing she's pretty new, so that can be excused. Anyway, no matter how awkward she seemed, she made up for it with the music. Every week's an emphasis on different instrument. This week was the flute, but it wasn't the typical boring flute you usually get. She had some Indian musical pieces (she said it was something call...um, crap, Carnation  Carnatic), whose composers I could barely understand, much less write down. If the whole show was as interesting, I wish I'd caught more than the last ten minutes.

Does anyone know if it was a three or four o'clock show? It was so late and the clock was so far away...

Maybe I'll even write fanmail. Maybe I'll sort my own fanmail! Oh, the excitement.
